Peace Beyond Understanding
Jim, acknowledged as a master teacher, is a shining example of what he teaches.
Crippled by a series of strokes eight years after he awakened in 1995, it took a couple of years to recover, even though he continued to have some paralysis on his right side. Still, he accepted everything with grace and ease.
More recently, he had several falls which resulted in a right hip replacement, other fractures, plus a diagnosis of Parkinson’s.
Nevertheless, he continues—as he hobbles around with his cane—to radiate a cheerfulness, kindness, and healing presence which people find inspirational.
What he teaches is the mantra/question, "Who is this ‘me’ that gets triggered?” Every time we experience an emotional reaction—worry, self-doubt, anxiety, guilt, shame, resentment, anger, depression, or loneliness—we affirm the mantra and look within to see if we can find the “me.”
Eventually, it becomes obvious that the “me” cannot be found, other than a “story,” a belief, a memory that comes-and-goes in the spacious awareness or presence we are.
Then we can turn our attention on the world around us and share this vital message of peace, love, and joy that we have awakened to!
“I highly recommend sessions with Jim. If you get what Jim is pointing toward, you will have a sense of peace beyond anything you’ve ever experienced. This is a journey well worth taking!”
